There is no doubt that social medias are present in everyday life of almost everyone. They also have much influence of it. A good example of it are athetles. The more known athlete - more followers, more influnce on their fans. Let's take a look on few instagram profiles.

Leo Messi

Maybe he is not the athlete with highest number of followers on instagram (this title belongs to Christiano Ronaldo). But in my opinion, he is more influencial.

Maybe he doesn't usually post in english - most of his posts are in spanish. But come on, his first post after winning world championships is the most liked instagram photo ever!

He post mostly pictures from his matches and the sponsorships. But he also raises awareness about problems - for example, posting about UNICEF. Each of his at least 2 million likes - it shows the impact that he has.

Piotr Żyła

If you read my column World Cup Sports Combined, you know that ski jumping is very dear to my heart. Though Żyła isn't the most successful ski jumper ever (but he does have sucesses - he is two times individual world champion on normal hill), he has the most followers on instagram amongsts ski jumpers and he is definiately one of the most iconic. Very well known for being bundle of laughs in interviews, he continues it in his posts.

Lots of emojis, lots of hashtags expressing his emotions, silly captions about author of the photo - that's Piotrek Żyła on instagram.

Mikaela Shiffrin

Staying in the climate of skis - here is Mikaela Shiffrin, the best alpine skier. And I mean it, she is the best. As written in her decription - she is two times olympic champion, seven times world champion and five times overall champion. And even more - she helds the record of most wins in alpine ever.

She of course posts mostly her achievements in sport, as well as photos from vacations. But she also very importantly raises awareness about mental health. She openly speaks about it, especially presenting her own thoughts about it - recently, she made a very long post about her feelings regarding various struggles. Queen and goat.
