May Heaven for Fashion Girlies

This May is definitely spoiling us with various fashion events.

Just on the first day of this month, the premiere of the long-awaited sequel to The Devil Wears Prada took place. Starring the fabulous Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep, the movie has already won the hearts of many people. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I’m looking forward to watching the new part of the loved-by-many classic. 

We all know that May means MET GALA. The most important event in the fashion industry took place on the first Monday of the month - 5th May at the MET museum in New York, USA. 

The most influential people in art, sport, business etc., tried to match their outfits with the main theme which this year was ‚’Fashion is art’. Even though the theme was amazing and gave a wide range of ways to interpret it, I, as well as many MET fans all over the world feel disappointed with how uncreative and low effort most of the creations were.

This was also the first Met Gala organized after Anna Wintour decided to step down from her position as executive editor of Vogue. Nevertheless,  she chose to keep organizing this mesmerizing event and this year she hosted the ball alongside Beyonce, Nicole Kidman and Venus Williams. Without any doubt the legendary team of Anna Wintour couldn’t miss this event. One of them, Hamish Bowles, shocked everyone with the outfit from Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY.

When it comes to the most powerful people in the world of fashion, there could not be missing the cast of new ‘The Devil Wears Prada’. They all arrived at the MET museum together. Anna Hathaway was charming in her han- painted dress from Michael Kors. This year’s Met was also a debut night for many stars like Tate McRae or Sombr. Some stars like Nicole Kidman or Beyonce decided to bring their daughters to the red carpet this year. 

This year, May is definitely pleasing us with amazing fashion events and we still have not had enough of this.
