Is my current status: kind of crying because there is no ski jumping, what am I supposed to watch? Nah. There are lot of other things going on. Wanna know what? So ready. Set. GO!
Tennis
Okay. So there were some "opens" tournaments right? Great to watch but they are not that important like this which started today (and by today I mean 28th May) - Roland Garros aka French Open. One of four grand slam tournaments. Iconic. Sadly, its biggest icon - Rafael Nadal - withdraw from it, because of his injury. It the first tournament in 19 years, when he won't be there. He won it 14 times, he is this tournament. What adds to the saddness - he said that the 2024 season would probably be his last.
Yeah... so:
Women's singles:
Front runner: Iga Świątek - number 1 in WTA ranking and last year's winner
but also Aryna Sabalenka (number 2 in WTA ranking) [fingers crossed for Iga obviously]
first round: 28th May - 30th May
second round: 31th May - 1st June
third round: 2nd June - 3rd June
fourth round: 4th June - 5th June
quaterfinals: 6th June - 7th June
semifinals: 8th June
final: 10th June
Men's singles:
Front runner: hard to say, obvious choice would be Nadal, but as written above - he won't be there
but honestly - most likely either Carlos Alcaraz (number 1 in ATP ranking) or Daniil Mendvedev (number 2 in ATP ranking)
first round: 28th May - 30th May
second round: 31th May - 1st June
third round: 2nd June - 3rd June
fourth round: 4th June - 5th June
quaterfinals: 6th June - 7th June
semifinals: 9th June
final: 11th June
Volleyball
Poland is the best thank you. Next.
No, but honestly. The final of Champions League was polish club vs polish club. ZAKSA Kędzierzyn Koźle vs Jastrzębski Węgiel. Such thing happened for the first time ever for polish clubs.
So, the championship was won by ZAKSA - for the third time in the row! For Węgiel it was also a great achievement - they got into the final for the first time ever.
And what comes next?
Nations league.

F1
I must say. I am still not watching it, though I am constantly encouraged. But looking at the results - c'mon, it's kind of boring. Max Verstappen, Max Verstappen and Max Verstappen. Just joking, I know that the races themselve are probably much more interesting. But I believe that everyone who watches F1 already perfectly knows Netherland's anthem.
So here are the top 5 results from the Grand Prix Monaco:
Max Verstappen: 1:48:51.980
Fernando Alonso: + 27.921
Esteban Ocon: + 36.990
Lewis Hamilton: + 39.062
George Russel: + 56.284
